This HBCU Band Dance Scholarship is offered to high school graduating 3+ year Diva University Senior's whom are auditioning for a HBCU danceline to help cover expenses associated with the auditions process of a colligate danceline. 

Applicants must be a high school senior and a Sassy Divaz member; must have completed 3+ years of the Diva University Roadmap Program; must have a current 3.0 GPA or higher; must show proof of acceptance letter to the HBCU of dance audition; and must show proof of danceline audition application submission.

Miss Diva University Scholarship

This Diva University Annual Dance Scholarship is offered to a Diva University Member who wins the title of "Miss Diva University" at our annual Diva University Pageant.  Contestants must meet the following requirements to compete:

​

  1. Each DU contestant must be between the ages of 11 and no older than 18 years by August 1 of the current Season.

  2. Contestant must not have attended college on a full-time basis prior to the pageant. 

  3. Contestant must be born female, currently female, single, never married, nor given birth to a child.

  4. Contestant must be of good health and moral character.  

  5. Recipient of the title Miss Diva University promises to promote the program by making all appearances during her reign.

  6. Miss Diva University promises to return to the crown and banner, to crown her successor. 

 

 SCHOLARSHIP

  • All scholarships are determined by the number of delegates that attend the year’s competition.

  • Each mandatory ad sold will be credited towards the Miss Diva University Scholarship Fund. 

  • The Scholarship will be awarded up to $1,500 to the delegate crowned Miss Diva University.

  • Recipient must complete the remaining current Season after awarded.

DU Hardship Scholarships

This Diva University Hardship Dance Scholarship is offered to Diva University members who qualify for a financial hardship, family disaster or family crisis. Scholarships are based on available funds. Applicants must be a current DU member; must provide a copy of current Social Service Award Letter OR have a unanimous vote by the DU Directors to award a DU member following a disaster or crisis; must complete the remaining current Season after awarded.
