LaTesha Alexander

Tesha Alexander, Coach T, is a native of St. Louis, MO who started dancing at Dance Plus when she was
3 years old. She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, praise, cheer and pom, and more. With Dance Plus she competed in numerous Regional and National Dance Competitions,
winning multiple honors and first place awards. She currently teaches technique classes at Dance Plus,
and choreographs for competitive solos, duets, and trio dances.

Tesha attended Hazelwood Central High School where she was a Varsity member of the Hawkettes Dance
Team, and earned the title of Captain as a Varsity Cheerleader. She was actively involved in school groups
including National Honor Society, Student Council, Yearbook Committee, Theater and more. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008.


Coach T received her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2012 where she was the only African American member of the Golden Girls Dance Team for three of four years. She remained active in several on campus clubs such as NAACP and The Black Business Student Association, and also participated in philanthropic activities including volunteering at Granny’s House, The Food Pantry, and The Boys and Girls Club.

Upon graduation from Mizzou, Coach T auditioned and became a member of The St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders. With The Rams, she traveled across the world performing in front of 90,000+ fans in places such as London, England. She was featured in three swimsuit calendar photo shoots, and earned an opportunity to attend a Pro Tour to Hawaii, Guam, and The Kwajalein Islands. She remained active in the community through events like the Urban League Turkey Giveaway, Salvation Army Bell Ringing, Motion for Kids Holiday Party, and other various community events in the neighborhood.

Coach T completed her third and final year as a St. Louis Rams Cheerleader in 2015 when she 'hung up her
white boots' to start a family and become a mom. She is currently the proud mother of 2 handsome boys, a
wife of 7 years, and a member of Rehoboth Christian Ministries Church where she is the praise dance
leader and choreographer. Coach T is a Director of  The Diva University, and the Head Coach of the Power House Divas.
