An instructor, coach, dancer, and performer, Joy is a native of St. Louis, Missouri with family and very strong ties to the community. She has over 18 years of experience in the world of dance; being exposed to it at the ripe age of 7.

​

 

Joy became a professional dance instructor with the self-same academy that honed her career and fostered her love of dance; Dance Plus Studio.

​

 

As a student of the performing art who has become dance master and instructor, she continues to grow in this field with continued lessons as well as instructing dancers of all ages on a competitive level. Joy’s tutelage from her expertise in various dance genres of ballet, lyrical, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, contemporary, praise, majorette, and cheer/poms.
