Clarissa Lewis (Coach Clarissa) is an Illinois native and has been dancing since a young age, training in various styles of dance including praise dance and gymnastics. 

Clarissa was a cheerleader in high school where she served as Co-Captain during her senior year. She is a graduate of Saint Louis University (SLU) where she was a member of the SLU step team and Xquizit (hip hop dance team).

Clarissa is currently the head coach for the Diva University Dynamic Divas and Firey Divaz. She is a pole fitness instructor at Free Flow Fitness and she is a 3 year Burlesque performer for The Boom Boom Room in downtown St. Louis. Clarissa is a full-time assistant director and preschool teacher at an early childhood center. She believes that the best way to teach children is first getting to know them and using that information to navigate and facilitate their learning. Especially when working with very young children, she believes it is very important to hold their interest. Clarissa sees each child as their own unique individual and always plans to find and utilize their strengths to further their dance development. Clarissa brings personality, love of children, and a variety of dance styles and technique to the Diva University Program.
