The Diva University Admissions
The Diva University is a majorette development and resource organization.

The Diva University offers virtual and in-person training for dance students who aim to attend a HBCU as a band dancer. The Diva University starts dance training as early as age three! The Diva University is the first online majorette dance team in the world! The Diva University provides prospective dancers the opportunity for student's, in-state or out-of-state, to participate in our exclusive majorette dance program.

Our dance students are enrolled three ways: promotion through Division Programs (Open Enrollment), a promotion through Placement Testing (Level Exam), or an intense Auditions consisting of pre-audition, interviews, and a final performance audition.
Our Season is a full calendar year; August-July. Parents must be able to commit to the Season in which your dancer or cheerleader is auditioning. Performances during each season includes parades, exhibition performances, and competitions (for Vet & Elite levels only). Typically, The Diva University has 170 students (ages 3-18) but we do not conduct our auditions or enrollments based on numbers. Out of the 170 students, 50 students are normally competitive members.

Note: Most university dancelines require 3-4 years of technical dance training, featured twirlers require 2-3 years of baton twirling experience, color guards require 2-3 years of flag experience and cheerleading requires a back tuck to be considered for the team. We teach all dance levels ages 8-17 to twirl batons and to spin flags as well as dance. If you are interested in your child being apart of this elite organization, please register today!
