The Diva University is the pioneer of majorette dance in the Midwest; by providing majorette dance resources, a cultural environment, social experiences, health education, and community service for our youth. The Diva University is the best majorette dance program in Missouri!

Why we do what we do

​

The Diva University aims to provide its members with an outlet to express themselves, channel their emotions, and to direct their energy through dance. Our mission is to build confidence, self-awareness, character, life-long skills, and friendships in a fun and exciting way; all while teaching the importance in teamwork, performing arts, and dance technique. The Diva University students live healthy and active lifestyles and are less likely to engage in risky behavior; more likely to attend college, more likely to be impactful in their communities, more likely to be successful in school, and more likely to graduate from post-secondary education. The Diva University students participate in program activities and experiences that builds fundamental skill set, and behaviors that increase confidence and resilience; enabling them to set and achieve their goals and lead productive, independent, and fulfilling lives.

How we do what we do

The Diva University's dance curriculum is organized into five diverse programs: Pre-majorette, Recreational Majorette, Hip Hop Majorette, and HBCU Majorette.

The Diva University is a cornerstone to meeting the needs of urban dancers. We use our dance program as an innovative way to help our youth succeed in life, become socially connected, achieve physical well-being, build psychological health, and make the world a better place. We truly believe that we can inspire youth to become respectable, successful, ethical, and responsible young adults through the values taught in our programs.
